Early Inspiration
From a young age I was surrounded by incredible food, particularly seafood, growing up in a Spanish family. Some of my fondest memories are of my nan, my 'Abuela', sitting with a notebook while watching cooking shows on television, writing down new recipes to try at home. She was an exceptional cook and her passion for food sparked my own love for the kitchen.
Starting Out
After leaving school, I went straight into work rather than college and found myself in kitchens, starting as a kitchen porter at a local golf club. Soon after, I had the opportunity to work in a nationally award-winning gastropub, where my passion for cooking really took shape. During this time, I also studied at Westminster College, building the skills and knowledge that formed the foundation of my career.
Over the years I’ve been fortunate to work in a variety of kitchens across London and Essex producing rosette-standard food. My experience spans fine dining restaurants, luxury hotels, and busy wedding venues. Before moving into private chef work, I held the role of Head Chef at a vineyard, a brand-new business venture where I led the kitchen, created seasonal tasting menus to pair with the wines, and helped establish it as a very successful restaurant.
When COVID hit, it marked the start of a new chapter. I began cooking private dinners across East Anglia and after moving to Norfolk in June 2022, Norfolk County Catering was born.
What started as a one-man operation has since grown into a team of up to 30 talented chefs and hospitality professionals, delivering private dining experiences and weddings across the county.

What We Do Today
Today we cater for private dinners, weddings and events throughout Norfolk and East Anglia. Alongside this, we’ve launched a street food company offering a more relaxed and fun style of dining with bold flavours and creative dishes.
The next step in our journey is the opening of our own café restaurant, which will bring everything we love about great food and hospitality into a permanent space.
